Days in Brazzaville – Brazzaville’de gunler

A crazy tropical rain has just started and cooled down at least a bit of the heavy, humid weather. We are literally trapped at the restaurant/reception of our hotel (Hotel Hippocampe) and can’t walk back to our rooms.

We were planning to fly out to Ouesso on Saturday, but the Saturday flight was cancelled. Luckily, there are now 2 other small airplane companies that fly to Ouesso 5 times a week: Mistral and Air Congo. When we were here last time, there was only one: Canadian Airlines (not to mix with the actual Canadian airlines, no one knows why it’s called Canadian!) which was flying only on Saturdays. Things are changing fast here. Anyway, we managed to get tickets for Tuesday. Soon, we will be in Ouesso and then Pokola.

During the last few days, we had a chance to get to know Brazzaville a bit more. We visited the Poto-Poto market, went to the falls (Rapide Cataract) and went to neighborhoods Bacongo and Makelekele.

Son birkac gun icinde, Brazzaville’i daha iyi tanima firsatimiz oldu.
